I attended the Cream of East Anglia Model Railway Exhibitions yesterday and at Spalding. There were some absolutely fabulous layouts to be seen and one on London Underground that proved Very impressive, with cameras fitted to some of the models.
There were also one or two where there was very little movement, which to most of us is a disappointment.
As well as some of 'The Club' members there, I saw a couple of Bramley Line members and to cap it all a Guy I last saw 19 years ago when our previous Model Railway Club was forced to close.

Glad you had a good day out mikkel! I would like to see views from a camera fitted to a model train. I think it is time I made you a train animation on ME! ;D

Dag, I wouldn't know where to even start. Attending the Model Railway Exhibition yesterday, I spotted a German layout for a change, so took a photo of it, even though the scenery is still in the process of being completed. To add to this, I also saw one based on South Africa, which sadly, I couldn't get near enough to get any photo's, but I did get one of another Brilliant one and based on London Underground and titled Abbey Road. It was this one that had the cameras fitted.

Oh that underground layout is fantastic, I can even see the little white insulators on the lines and the scenery detail looks so good! I wonder if the doors slide open on the carriages? I doubt if I will ever get around to making a layout in my loft, but thought at least I can make some animated graphics like this:

Tonight, I had to do a 'Talk' on the Bramley Line to a local group in the Wisbech area. I had been asked some months ago and as it is a few months since last doing one, so I was obviously a bit nervous. There must have been about 50 there and I have never spoken to that many before, but it went along Brilliantly to say the least. I must have satisfied them because I have been invited back again next year with an update.

Despite a mere handful of people 'thinking' that we are giving up the project, I can prove them wrong when they see the photo below suddenly appear in thier local paper and hopefully next week.

On behalf of the members, a very big Thank You. The sign has now stood 3 weeks and thankfully with No vandalism. Following our weekly visit there today, we went off and I took the photo below. Immediately behind the coach and straight on, you can just about see a section of line covered in grass. That is one start/end of the Bramley Line, depending which way you look at it. Officially, our boundary is approximately 100 metres beyond that. The loco shown is Battle of Britain Class Tangmere, and it was on a now Annual Steam Special titled Cathedrals Express, having worked from Kings Cross to Ely, then going on to March and the loco and support coach being turned on the triangle at Whitemoor Jcn. This is when it was traversing backwards, in order to get back to the signal for the yard near the station and where the coaches of the rest of the train were stabled.

Hi Mikkel this morning I have read all 15 pages of your thread and I have to say you are doing a wonderful job and also giving me itchy feet because I just know somewhere in the attic is at least one trian set, loads of track and a wonderful collection of houses. I only wish we had room to 'do' a set-up but things as they are it's not pratical at the moment. Keep up the good work and I hope you and your club have a great many hours of fun doing what you so enjoy for years to come.Hel.xxx.
