That's beautiful Mikkel, Ann loves Tigers. My mother often does jigsaw puzzles and has quite a collection.
Looking forward to seeing the steam train when you get it finished.

My most recent jigsaw completed and one I honestly thought was 500 pieces, yet turned out to be 300 and the 'Coronation Scot' andtook less than 24 hours, while the next and 1,000 pieces of Brandenburgh Gate, Berlin at night, Will take some time due to streaks from rocket fireworks.

Nice, mikkel, but tell me, where does the engine driver sit and look out from? Surely he doesn't have to lean out the side all of the time?

;D Although you can't see it very well on the jigsaw there still is in fact a small drivers observation window to the front of the cab, that is both sides and is just clear of the boiler area in front. So the view would be no different to any other engine. As the driver don't need to steer at all, just needs to look at signs/signals ahead and a glimpse of the track in front is all that he needs.
As for sitting well with constantly having to maintain water levels, adjust lubrication mix with steam, adjust the valve settings for suitable economy/power, blow the whistle, occasionally maybe help the stoker, apply brakes, and a dozen other things to regularly keep an eye on, there is not much chance to sit down anyway!

I am close to finishing another 1,000 piece and one that IS different and I have Never attempted before. Kedi-Gato is a 'neighbour' as to where the picture is from. As I have had one Very busy day & evening today, so I haven't been able to work on it.

No good me wondering what it might be, Mikkel, as there are so many places that could be.
However, since you have never attempted this type before, I wonder if it is a round puzzle or a globe-shaped one?
Whatever, looking forward to seeing it.

To give you a clue as to why I have never done one like this before, it is a night scene with fireworks. My main reason for buying it, is the Location. ;D

YES! All 1,000 of the Brandenburgh Gate at that. I visited there in September 1982. I am just so pleased I completed this one.

Looks good, Mikkel. I think it must have been rather difficult, matching the rocket bursts and the red and blue sky bits up.
