A year or two ago I decided to collect photos of any and all sorts of vehicles. Here is the start of my collection taken last spring in Florida.

What a great idea kedi, keep it coming! Love the first one, just think in a traffic jamb you could just shove everybody out of the way! Mrs. DAG likes the marine rescue vehicle to be able to charge around on the sand! ;D

I hope Mrs DAG know that part of the fun of being able to charge around the beach on the rescue vehicle involves knowing how to use the surf boards strapped to the top of it? ;D Actually, I think the Lifeguard uses the big one and the person being rescued gets on the small red one. Still, with a bit of practice, we'll make a Lifeguard out of her yet. What do you say, Mrs DAG?

Mrs.DAG said that sounds better than negotiating some of the roads around here! But she said she would like any vehicle that had bull-bars on the front!
Just as well that she does not drive, ha ha! ;D

Thought I might add this American Jeep from WWII that is owned by a local and he even has the uniform to go with it!

Oh, and I thought it was Mrs DAG's with the bull-bars (as you call them) not yet installed.
Seriously, good pics, DAG. The guy obviously drives it as there is a licience plate on it, even if it isn't a British one.
It must be difficult to get parts for it though.

Those pix were taken about 15 years ago and he no longer lives there now. He always wore his American uniform when he drove that and always looked the part! There was even a rifle mounted on the dash when he went to his meetings where apparently other members of the club had tanks and lorries and guns! ;D I would think that parts were obtainable thro' the club in some way.

Just imagine going out for lunch or shopping in a tank! These pics were taken at the fire station just around the corner from the kids house in Florida. Fire engine - - and an ambulance -

A very impressive looking fire engine and must be quite an expensive piece of kit!
