How wonderful... surely they are to good to eat .....!! I entirely agree Robert and kedi has said it all so there isn't much I can say, so I have added 2 of the pics to the front page instead.

Thank you for the lovely comments and thank you Dag for using my pics on front page.
Kedi All the writing is done with royal icing and not marzipan, reason for this marzipan is made from a combination of nuts and specially if children who suffer from allergyies if eaten can be seriously ill. It is also not good for asthmatics.
Most of my sceneries are done free hand as I would a painting. I dont like painting faces of people I got this 'thing' about it. I do love cartoon characters. I trace them on the cake and sometimes do them in 3D. I also love making all the figures and sugar flowers.
Never use marzipan on figures only sugarpaste. I use marzipan on fruit cakes.
The big lettering you see on my cakes are done separately and left to dry then removed and gently put on the cake.
The Chinese wedding cake writing was very difficult 'double happiness' I had to do 12 circles of writing just to get 3. just in case the circles broke. Mixing the colours is also tricky have to get it just the way they want it.
I do love working on the art side of it. My biggest critic is my hubby.
