Yes Kedi the 3 children are her own and the characters at the top table are her parents and parents - in law. It took me 4 days to make all the characters. It was fun though.

That is what I have said several times, DAG, a pity to cut into them and spoil all that beauty. It's nice that you have photographed them all, Tamarine, and for letting us share them.
If we ever do all meet up, I wonder what cake you would create for the occasion?

Gateau - that is exactly what our darling Gato was named for! But spelt like the Spanish and Portuguese word for Cat.
And Kedi is Turkish for Cat.

Well, aren't they the cutest little vehicles! And to get the colour of the bus like the original, well done. I do believe that you could make any cake that anyone asked for, Tamarine. I bow down to you.

Oh my goodness, but you've been busy making more works of art, Tamarine. The detail is amazing. I guess all the writing and pictures are made from marzipan and then pasted on? I assume you have a stencil for them? That is, apart from the two girls on the Festival of Lights cake, did you make a stencil first or draw them straight on? I love Mohsen's 1st birthday cake and the Chinese wedding cake is fantastic with all those marzipan flowers. What an unusual idea for the other wedding cake, those suitcases ready for going away on honeymoon. I bet you sit down when you have finished one and admire it for another job extremely well done Thanks for sharing them with us.
