When we move to our home in 04 this was how our garden looked then. I took this pic in 06 our garden. This pic was taken last weenend and its only part of the garden now.

What a difference, Tamarine, a lot of thought and hard work was put in.
You can see how various plants have grown in the two years. All those different shades of green make is very interesting.
Good idea getting rid of those 3 big trees down at the bottom, they looked rather overpowering.

Through the back gate along the fence is my allotment. You can see the white net I have put over my cauliflowers.

That is very handy, having your allotment in back of the garden. It is like a garden extension.

I call it my secret garden. On a nice sunny morning I take a cup of tea and sit on my garden bench near allotment shed and listen to the birds chattering. It is really peaceful. Our allotment is well fenced off and gated. Sometimes I have allotment friends come and sit with me for tea and a chat.

I seem to have missed out on some of your photos, Tamarine.
Those alliums are lovely. We've never had any luck with them and we've tried quite often. I am having one last go, I planted some of the small yellow ones last week, now I have my fingers crossed.
I love that first hosta, what a pretty and unusual colour. I think I will get one for the new Woodland bed.
Gorgeous archway! Clematis, that's something else we've never had luck with, apart from the Miss Bateman which is now flowering for the third year.

Allium has flowered for the second year running. The Clematis flowered before but not so many flowers as this year. Also on this archway is a lovely rambling rose . It is about to flower and flowers right through to December.
I will put other hostas on when I can get close ups.

Your hanging baskets are gorgeous, Tamarine, lovely colours. The water lily is beautiful too. What other colours do you have?

Wonderful baskets Phil. I was thinking, wonder if a cake could be decorated with a little icing garden on it?
