My garden needs a good sort out it presently looks like a jungle ;D so my hubby says. Just finding the time. I spend too much on the lottie. Well tamarine, it all looks wonderful to me and with what you achieve overall, I am sure you must be very efficient with your time. Well done indeed!

3 year old James Grieve Apple tree. After the june drop only 7 apples were left on the tree. The apples are really sweet and also the Wasps think so too.

Just looked through all last summer pictures Tamarine. I'm very impressed, you really are growing some really good looking things.
Lets hope we can get the winter out of the way and look forward to a good growing season this year.

I've never seen a varigated Spanish Bayonet before but it is lovely. Wow! Is that monstrous flower stalk from it or is there another one behind it? Here's a link I just googled - www.ehow.com/list_7493426_plants-green-yellow-variegated-leaves.html I brought some young ones home from both Portugal and Cyprus, but they are really so sharp on the points so didn't keep them. I would have had to have them in the Wintergarten during the cold period and it would have been too dangerous to move them in and out. I think yours will stay outside the whole year long, won't it? Your garden is quite protected and your banana plant also stays outside with a cover.

years ago I paid £35 for this plant and it was quite small then in 09 I had one long spray. Last year in the same plant there were 5 little plantslets and from these plantlets sprung up 5 sprays of flowers. They first start off as burgundy buds and open up as cream flowers. I think I had half the street come to see this and not forgetting my lottie friends. The tips of the leaves are like a needle attached to them.
I didnt think it was going to be so big. Regret planting it in that spot. Seems to thrive in dry weather.
