He's darling, windy, and what a nice colour too. Will you get a second one or do they get on better by themselves?

He's soooo cute isn't he?? !!!! KG - Chameleons should always be kept on their own, they really don't like others ( a bit like meself!!!!) Unfortunately, since I took his arrival pics he's scoffed down several Crickets and has started to shed his skin, so is looking less photogenic now! ;D Unfortunately, I didn't manage to get a pic of his tongue when he was eating...it's a bit quick for my photography skills, but I will persevere. When I turned off his lighting in his viv he went to sleep by hanging in the vines by his tail and curling his body round to look like a leaf....fascinating!

My boy is gorgeous!!! He's mooching around the viv like a good'un...drinking the water drips and munching crickets...I'm sure he's grown all ready!! Will take a pic when he comes out to bask...

You must try to get a pic when he is sleeping like that, it must be precious! What is that hanging down in his abode - a pull bell to summon you to bring more crickets?

Hee hee...like Lord of the Manor ooh almost forgot then...the dangly thing is the sensor for the thermostat...it makes sure the temps are right for him inside the vivarium. I've ordered some special mesh too, so I can leave one of the glass doors open and give him more ventilation....I've been Googling see !!!! ;D ;D

Chameleons get stressed very easily....I don't want to get too close with the camera coz he freaks out. Will try and work out the zoom on me camera that'll help!! He was looking a bit peeky yesterday...but the kids wouldn't leave him alone He's up and about now....but to be honest, he's a bit thick!! Not sure he's been finding enough of the crickets I put in for him..so on the advice of an online site, I'm going to put them in a cup or something with some veg and see if he gets more that way. Hes up and about now....

Well he must be wising up coz yesterday he had 6 crickets before I went to work...biggish ones too!!! He didn't move all evening, was probably too stuffed!!!! Took the kids to the Reptile shop yesterday...me boy fell in love with a Blue Tongued Skink there...he came right up to the glass to say hello to him...all I heard was me boy declare ' A hundred pounds isn't much for a lizard that size Mummy'...mmmm, well it's too much for me son, have a Gecko instead!
