I think the ones I have seen all go under the name of Mandevillea. I'll make a point of looking next time I go in a garden center.

Oh, I just love 'firsts' ... Here's my first Peach Canna opening ... ... and my first Agapanthus unfurling ...

Lovely, Sis. We had 3 red Cannas open here, got some pics but have not got them into PB yet. This garden is a surprise.
Agapanthus, just love them. We had a couple for years in Germany, but then one year they died. Well, they never were strong bloomers, not like you see in Portugal and Spain. Perhaps I might get another to try here.

Lovely pics Victoria, the first one fascinates me regarding the black background?

Do you really want me to give all my secrets away?
Dave W (my mentor photography man on GC) always asks such questions ....
Agapanthus should do well with you, Sis.

Ah, then it is in a pot and that is a studio picture? I should have thought of that!

You are correct DAG ... it is in a pot as all my Cannas are ... sitting in the sand garden and the 'black' behind it is the Viburnum. I got the effect by catching the sunlight through the petals thereby 'creating' a dark background.
