Nice freesias Victoria.
You can grow them natural, we cant, we need to buy heat treated bulbs and grow them as summer flowers, growing them in winter over here is a real task, but some people manage it under glass.

Lovely, Sis, can almost smell them up here, heavenly! Pete, perhaps that is why I never had any luck trying to grow them over here.

Thanks Victoria for the lovely show. Im still looking for that elusive daffodil in Yorkshire. Plenty of short buds but still no flowers.

Same over here, Robert, although the snowdrops and crocus are out, the daffs are way behind this year.

What a gorgeous show of freesias, Sis, and I can almost smell them up here as well. They really seem to love the climate down there, don't they? Love the pic of them in the rockery, and also the anenomes with the bamboo. As you know, I have never had any luck with either freesias and anenomes up here, but you do make up for it down there. for sharing. xx

Thank you all. I only noticed yesterday that my American Beauty Honeysuckle (sadly not scented) is covered in buds ... My heavenly-scented Sunseeker climbing rose (bought as a 45cm miniature which it was for years until I planted it in the ground and is now over 2 meters tall but retains it's tweeness with these buds being only 2cm opening to 6 cm) is also now covered in bud clusters ...

The Honeysuckle and rose look beautiful, and I just looked up the Sunseeker on the Internet (UK) and it said grows to 2 ft high! ;D
I guess your weather suits it better than ours!

Lovely, lovely, lovely! - both the honeysuckle and the rose.
I am thinking about putting some honeysuckle along the back wall here as well as Bourgainvillea. Perhaps I can find the one you have as the colours are so pretty.
