Mikkel, interesting shots you have there, I seem to remember the Flying Scotsman in a tv documentary some years ago, and it was touring Australia, if that was right, is it still out there? It makes you sick to see people on the tracks like that, you can understand it with animals but humans are supposed to have some intelligence! Sadly, the Flying Scotsman has been in the NRM workshop at York undergoing Major restoration and in need of £250,000 to get it back in steam again. i saw it there two years ago and took a photo that I will add on here when I locate it again. Yes it did do a tour of Australia and I have the video of it somewhere, so will look up as to when it was. As for the Idiots on the track above, whenever we are on the Bramley Line, we wear HVV's and I do lookout duty, despite the fact No trains run on there yet. we started as we mean to go on. HVV - High Visibility Vest.

I heard on the radio this morning that the new Steam loco 'Tornado' will be passing through Peterborough on Saturday and I won't be able to see it as I am assisting with a Sponsored Walk, as part of it will be along part of the Bramley Line, with Very kind and Special permission from Network Rail.
There is also to be a Steam train from Norwich to London via Cambridge next month, but early in the morning, so I Might get to see it.

Yes, will do kedi, just looked it up and I see that it was built in 1903 and believed to be the first train to reach over 100 mph.

I am sickened that a Good mate picked me up yesterday, then drove 60 miles to see a steam train pass through at a lovley 60mph, only for my close-by photo to come out blurred and as if I hadn't panned the camera. Still, not to worry, the same one is coming this way a couple of times in the next couple of weeks, amongst with two others and I haven't seen yet, so I intend to get some of them all.

On Tuesday, my mate picked me up again and we went to see this Beauty steam into March for turning. This time, the batteries in my camera decided to run out and so I had seconds to change them and capture this photo. Tomorrow, another will be actually coming through and I won't see it, but on Sunday when working another route, I am determined to capture it, as it is leaving our local station just after 10.00 and I intend being in a location where there will Not be too many others to capture the same scene.
