Mrs.DAG has decided to interrupt her cross-stitch to do some knitting for a friends baby, and here is the first one which is in fact a lilac colour with matching buttons, but the light is not good today.

It's a lovely pattern and how quickly she knitted it - she only bought the wool on Monday!!!
Well done Mrs DAG.

Thats still fast compared to me. I started to knit a Speedway scarf for my brothers 19th birthday ,just good old stripes in club colours. It's not finished yet and he was 54 earlier this month. Its a family legend as in"you'll get it when Ann finishes John scarf" ;D

Mrs DAG did this beautiful cross-stitch and I was lucky to have it offered to me. It is 10 x 47 cm / 3.94" x 18.5". I had it framed and finally got it back yesterday. (3 cm / 1.18" wide frame)

I had a lovely surprise on Monday - a parcel came in the mail from Arney and DAG. Arney had done me a beautiful finely-worked cross-stitch of Hannah the Elephant and DAG had framed it. I can't believe how tiny the stitches are, it is amazing. Thank you so much, Arney, I just love Hannah. xx Thanks to DAG, too, for editing my photo of Hannah. xx I couldn't get a good pic of it without the light reflecting in the glass.

Kedi, I would just like to add that I framed Hannah all by myself! Can't give these men too much praise! ;D I have just left the room as one of Claire's dogs have had the wind so DAG has got his computer back! ;D ;D

Oh, sorry, Arney. I just assumed that DAG had framed it as he framed all the others as far as I know, or assumed. You did it very well, as well as he could have. So that is another talent that you have. ;D ;D to leaving the room, I would too.

They are absolutely stunning, Sis. The first one is so cute and looks as though it is back-lit. Hannah looks like an oil painting ... they must be very fine stitches indeed.
Lucky you Sis and well done Mrs DAG .... I know Sis will treasure them.

Arney spoils me thoroughly - she did another elephant cross-stitch for me! It is just darling - look at their little faces and the detail. The stitches are extremely fine, I wouldn't have been able to see them to do. It is unframed as yet as the frame didn't fit into the on-board trolly, so it had to be left behind at their house in England. Shall take it to be framed here. This one was done especially for the house in Florida. Thank you so much Arney, I love it. xx
