4 eggs 1 cup sunflower oil 1 1/2 cups sugar
- beat until frothy
2 cups plain flour 15 gr baking powder 2 teaspns ground cinnamon 1-2 teaspns ground ginger
- sift and mix into the egg, oil & sugar mix
4 large cooking apples, peeled and cut into chunks 100 g walnuts, roughly chopped
- add to the cake mix
Put into a 26 cm cake tin, buttered and floured.
Bake at 170°C in a fan-assisted oven, don't pre-heat, for about 1 hour.
Serve with whipped cream
This cake freezes well.
