Take any veggies that you have to hand, clean and chop them into pieces. Or use left-over veggies.
Add water and bring to the boil.
Season with salt & pepper, a good dash of Worcester sauce, and any other seasoning that you like.
When cooked, puree and add a generous dollop of either sweet cream, sour cream or creme fraiché and mix well.
Serve alone or add chopped frankfurters to make it heartier.
TIP: cayenne pepper gives it a nice zing or add curry powder for an Indian taste

I do this sometimes with the peelings from the veg on a sunday..or when the fridge is looking empty.I have a butternut squash to use up so i may make a soup with it today..
