Don't you just love getting a new PC After going through all the pains of windows based systems over the years, I have upgraded big style. From a windows 7 64bit system to an Apple Macbook pro..17inch. Its the second day now and still setting stuff up as I like it. I have to say I am going to really enjoy using this. Wish me luck on my Apple adventure.

So far I have not removed a single hair from my head. Been to busy today to do much with it so at the moment Im calibrating the battery. Just one step at a time. Love the way you can just shut the lid and when you open it again its exactly where you were. No long boot ups or shutdown. no AVG no norton. no virus crisp 17" display. very quite fans. 7 hours on battery. I could go on, and on. Check back with you guys later.

Update on Macbook Pro Still more than happy with it. Its a real delight to work away for several hours without any hitches at all. Open the lid and Im away. `When done for the day just shut the lid and it goes to sleep, for 21 days if needed. I7 processor. 2.3 Ghz 500 GB HDD 4GB ram. lovely. I was watching some HD videos from Vimeo and I was so impressed. Yes, its a lot of money and probable the last PC I shall buy, so reckon cheaper in the long run. It was couple years ago I thought I had a cracking good display on the Acer W7 64bit. but I was so wrong. More later if you are at all interested.

Looks like a nice bit of equipment Robert, sorting out all those photos seems like a huge task and one I will have to do here as well as I have all of mine stored on the external HD but they still need sorted so that I can find the ones I want easier

That is exactly my problem Alfie. Its a huge task tagging every one, but it looks like its paying off. Im using Photoshop Elements 10 to do the tagging and cataloging. It should now be a simple task of searching by Tag, date, location, event, and even faces!
