Another Aussie Recipe
4 Chicken breast fillets, 2 tspns french mustard, 2 tspns oil,1/2 cup water,1 sml chicken stock cube crumbled. 2 tspns cornflour. Extra 2 tblspn water. 1/3 cup evaporated skimmed milk.2 tblspns chopped fresh chives.
Spread the chicken with mustard. Heat oil in frying pan and cook chicken until brown. Stir in the water and stock cube, simmer uncovered for10 mins or until until tender. Blend cornflour with extra water add to chicken mixture stir over heat until mixture boils and thickens. Stir in milk and chives. reheat before serving.

Mmmm. I do like the sound of this Letitia but what is evaporated semi-skimmed milk, does it come in tins, please? Arney

It's really tasty, we use tesco light choices evaporated semi skimmed milk. I think Asda and Carnation make a version too. I'm not certain it's the same as the Aussie stuff but it tastes fine .As Alfie needs extra "gravy" now I usually make the full amount of sauce but half the chicken.He's gone from hardly any gravy to having loads
