Note: We did it differently, the chicken was just gently pan fried in water the day before and left in the fridge over night. Then the fat was skimmed off and the jelly retained for the broth and the bones removed and chicken prepared and broken up as desired. In a separate pan we cooked the lemon rind, half potato slices and half sweet potato slices for 10 minutes and then the chicken, broth and cabbage was added and cooked on for another 8 minutes or so until everything was cooked through. Serve with sprinkled lemon zest and lemon juice.
