Seems she has discarded the first two eggs, but the news is there will be more.

I can't get the webcam pics to load, just get a black screen for it. Shall try later on again. I can see two still pics though.

Daylight in California now and the nest is not looking to good. I have been chatting to the guys and it seems a hummer will never use the same nest twice but will rebuild for each clutch. This is expected to happen soon.

Of course, I didn't think of that, Robert. California is a couple of hours behind Florida so it was still dark there. I could look at it now, the empty nest that is. Perhaps we can see a new nest soon, fingers crossed.

I could go straight in and watch it this time, So I'll check back now and then to see how things are progressing. Thanks, Robert.

Oh, goodness! shame on me, good thing that you reminded me or I'd have missed them completely. As it is, I've missed their babyhood, and I think they are about ready to fly off very soon. I have a note right in front of the screen now, and shall look there as soon as I get online.

They are so big and keep jostling, I almost expect one to fall out of the nest at any moment.
Phoebe just came back and is feeding them. They had been expecting her as they kept looking up and poking their tongues out.
They keep testing their wings and you can clearly hear the whirring. It won't be long now.

Just had another look and was in time to see Phoebe before she flew off again. The chicks are now busy testing their wings again.
Aw, eggs the size of Tic Tacs. So she has laid eggs in another nest and is still coming back to feed this pair?
