What a whopper! I take it by the bricks that it is around 4 inches long overall? You wouldn't want that to land in your tea! ;D

Audra, Phil said that if Gibbs (their dog) saw it, he would want to eat it. I forbid him to let Gibbs out to see it, and I forbid you to send me your chickens as well. ;D ;D
DAG, yes, that was about the size of this handsome chappie.

Here's a link to a site to give you a few ideas of how to use your Grasshopper, perhaps Dag could add some of them to the recipe page ;D ;D I think the grasshopper goulash sounds lovely www.faculty.de.gcsu.edu/~cbader/ghprec.html

;D ;D ;D Some of them sound funny, but that goulash, Alfie, no way, never-never, felt queasy just reading it.
I had a chuckle about needing 1000 grasshoppers - the younger the better - can you imagine counting them? I think you'd starve to death before you found enough.
Thanks for the link, Alfie, it's one to go back to now and then and discover more delights.

Ann wonders if a handful of sage leaves finely chopped and a red onion might improve the Goulash

It might for you but it certainly wouldn't for me, nothing could improve that goulash except not eating it.
