I have called this Brenda's Peaches as Brenda was our hostess yesterday and made this delicious dessert.
Prepare one peach per person.
Halve and de-stone the peaches. Put a small piece of butter on each half then sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover with foil. Put them in an oven at 180c for about 4-5 minutes or until the peaches are soft.
Top with a drizzle of maple syrup, a few cranberries, chopped pecan nuts and a good dollop of greek yogurt
You can also prepare this using pears or apples.

That does sound rather nice, Sis, so I'll try it out soon.
However, I seriously doubt that they need to be in the oven for so long, unless they were stone-hard and not ripe to start with. I think 5 minutes, or 10 at the most, would do nicely.

I thought the timing was a bit long too, Sis. I copied what she sent me on an e-mail ... maybe she meant 4-5 minutes? Anyway, cook until tender ...

Yes, she probably just forgot to put a dash between the 4 and 5.
