Its a small world... Got this little camera the other day for the amazing price of £20. I set it up in the roof of the bird feeder and set the mode to record on sound at 60db. Theres a short video showing the first test. A reckon if I can lift it higher into the roof It should be even better. THis is it with one of the securing clamps fitted! This link for the first video. I think I am going to have some fun with this.. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sn_9icnuz80

That is fantastic, Robert, both the video camera and the test video. I can see you having all sorts of fun catching birds in the garden. The price is really amazing. Looking forward to seeing more.

Looks impressive Robert, I take it that it is the same as a laptop video camera in principle, i.e., has to be directly connected back to a computer all the time?

Looks impressive Robert, I take it that it is the same as a laptop video camera in principle, i.e., has to be directly connected back to a computer all the time? No... this is full stand alone unit. It has a mini SD card for storage, internal rechargable battery and USB connectivity to PC. Can be set to record just like any other or sound activated at 60dp. Can take up to 16MB card and will record about 10 mins of 720x480 @30fps per 1mb I have a 8MB card in mine
