Fed up with eaten carrots I have grown some in pots this year and keeped them high, above the dreaded carrot fly altitude limit. This loverly is the third I have pulled and for me its as good as it gets.    |

That looks very good, Robert!  Someone else on ME grew potted ones a year or two ago and was pleased with the results. Who was it - Alfie or Vegmandan? |

Well done Robert, they do look good!
I am disappointed in the little ones I have been growing in the washing up bowls and was thinking about growing them in drainpipes next year like the champion carrot grower Medwyn Williams did as seen on tv a few years ago.
Only thing is I think he has to set up a kind of drip feed system and not sure I can be bothered.
