Robert, that all looks yummy, but I am trying to prize the tomato tear and share bread off the screen but without success! Also I can't smell any of it from here! I take it that you used the apple butter to fill the apple turnovers?

It all looks delicious but the tear and share bread has caught my eye. Perhaps you will give is the recipe when you have time, please, Robert. That surely isn't just for the two of you

Just for us two?......oh yes. Yes David I did use some of the apple butter in the mid size skinny looking pastie. Recipe for the bread? no problem. I shall post it over in the yummy food section. Plus I have just been pulled up for not saying that it was Gloria who made the sausage rolls!

We had another baking frenzy yesterday. Just a few mince pies and some soft rolls.

To brighten up this dull day I decided to test out some new tins we got yesterday. Four Frangapani pies, one Apple butter pasty and one Apple butter saucer pie later.. We shall get stuck in at tea time when Gloria makes the custard

They do look tasty and very tempting Robert, not sure I would be able to wait for the custard. I used to like the shop bought Frangipani cakes with the marzipan etc., homemade ones.......ummmmm something for the future.
