I have just recieved the first blight alert for the seaso for my area Area: YO32 Warning: Full Smith Period
Just finished spraying and hoping I dont get a repeat of 2008 when I lost all my tomatoes.

Thank you Robert, I have now registered and signed up for alerts.
I am not currently growing potatoes but may do next year. As I understand it both potato and tomato blight are the same thing.
The next door neighbour is growing potatoes right next to my tomatoes and I know that this is not good practice. So it is in my interests to keep an eye on the situation as I know that he is not on the Internet and did have potato blight last year.

Seems the best advise is to keep toms and pots spaced at least 4 feet apart..Not easy on my little plot !
