I Sincerely hope you have enough money to pay just for the Condensed Milk? The last I saw, it was over £1.00 just for a small tin.
Many years ago, I Loved dipping ginger biscuits in condensed milk, but the milk then got Way over-priced, so stopped buying it.

You are quite right mikkel, it is expensive now, we paid £1 for a medium sized tin 397g.
But even if we like that recipe, we are not aiming at having it all that often so price is not really an issue in our case anyway.

Hi Dag, I like the look of those cookies and indeed the ginger cookies I have a very sweet tooth I have 4 sugars in my first cuppa and 3 after for the rest of the day. I would rather have a dessert than a main course, I will try the cookies when I have some spare time and let you know how they went.thank you for sharing it with us

Easytiger, I am sure you know that that much sugar is bad for you and you could be lining yourself up for diabetes.
When I was in my 20's I used to have the same amount of sugar as you. I tried cutting it down and it didn't work, I tried cutting it out altogether and that didn't work either.
Then I realized like you that the first cup of the day was the key! So I decided that if I could stick no sugar at all in that first cup, then the rest of the day wouldn't be so bad. It worked and by chance about 2 weeks later I was given a cup with the usual sugar in it by accident and it was horrible!
50 years on and I have never had sugar in tea since. However coffee is a different matter as that is naturally bitter.
Just a thought, and hope you enjoy your cookies.
