Yes that looks about right Alfie, and it keeps Peter busy for a long time!
I think it is all part of Kedi's cunning plan! ;D

What cunning plan is that, DAG? ;D ;D Yes, the ones in the last pic are the oranges from Lidl, Alfie. I bought 8 kilos of them and just imagine having to squeeze one of those truckloads! Even with our really good electric juicer he'd only be at the warming up stage. ;D

Hey, Sis, those truckloads of oranges from Florida are miles apart than from here, aren't they, where they gather them by hand and put them in little blue/red/whatever hand manageable sized grates and stacked on the trucks? I shall have to get a picture of ours to show the comparison!
They are about 60c a kilo here too ... having been shipped from South Africa I believe ................. doh! Not as good and not as sweet so obviously we don't buy them.
Oh, well, at least I just have to walk up the lane and pick what I want .. and the Tangerinas are divine at the moment!

You could also perhaps get some pics of the orange packing factories in your area with an orange truck in front.
I well remember gathering no end of oranges that fell off one of the trucks that took the bend too quickly. It was on the way to Algoz at the old one-way bridge just before you got to the "poor peoples" house. They had obviously not been laying around for long and I insisted that Peter stop so I could get out and get them as I knew that nobody would want them, just drive over and flatten and/or leave to rot. There were so many of them that I always made sure I had a couple of plastic bags in the car "just in case" after that. ;D ;D
Anyway, he sat out on your kitchen patio when we got back from wherever we were going and squeezed them.

I remember those lovely tangerines growing in the fields next to you Victoria when we were there January last year and they were magnificent. Actually the tangerines/clementines from our local Aldi are very good at the moment. See, poor old Peter, he has to slave away doing the juicing, us 'perfect men' are just slaves really!

Sis, remind me if I don't to tell you about the 'poor people's house' near Algoz ...
DAG, the tangerinas are to die for here ... so, so sweet, virtually no pips and the peel 'falls off' ... oooohhhhh ...
