Also here is a pic of the patterns that Arney made for the little clothes, which I found in a drawer of the wardrobe:

This is how it all started and all these below are shop bought dolls clothing. Then I got the idea of making toy furniture to suit it all.

Then of course, Arney made some of the clothes which are the 3 on the far right, the bottom one is actually knitted. My daughters made the rest, youngest (Anne) was into horseriding then, hence the jodhpurs (bottom left) and she also made the 2 unfinished skirts below the red. All the rest made by Claire.

Just an update, I decided to fully restore the wardrobes and place all the clothes that Arney so carefully washed and ironed back in them again, the little clothes making patterns and the smaller clothes are in the drawers.

I've seen the furniture and clothing several times, but always enjoy admiring the time-consuming work and love put into every single piece. It is lovely to see everything restored to the original condition. Well done Arney and DAG.

Thank you kedi and Robert, probably don't notice much but in the making of those wardrobes most of the time was needed to make the working brass fittings for the door latches which are turned brass and silver soldered. Also a lot of time was spent making the cooking pots with fitted lids and turned wooden bowls etc., and of course Arney spent hours on the clothes both in the making and with the washing and ironing as it is all so fiddly to that scale.
I found all that in the loft 2 years ago and got my daughters to come round and have a sort through and they spent about half an hour going thro' all the clothes etc., enjoying their memories. Then I decided to renovate the wardrobes, perhaps I shall have a go at the rest some day. So they are back up in the loft again for another................ ;D

Wow, that's amazing DAG! Such detailed work ... but then you paint with such precise detail. I can't believe you made the pots and pans as well! I'm truly impressed. xx

Patience that went into making all of those items is amazing Dag.
I've not seen anything like it before.
