We had a hike around "Our village" yesterday as part of the three day scarecrow festival. As well as taking pictures of the scarcrows I took loads of the wondeful trees around. I think they are all looking great this year. Copper Beech. a real treat later on in the season Cherries are everywhere Silver berch coming along nicely Not sure about these next few.

Nice photos Robert. I think the dark pink is a cherry prunus and, as Vikky says, the last one is Monkey Puzzle - Araucaria araucana.

Oh, I did enjoy following you on your walk, Robert. There are quite a few of those Monkey Puzzle trees at home. I always find it strange that they grow in our climate as I think they look so exotic and should grow elsewhere and not thrive as they do in north Germany.
