But not in this case. This afternoon we saw what looked like smoke coming from the wood near the house, on checking I found that there was no fire, it was pollen from a Yew tree blowing in the wind. Alfie

OMG! that is worse than the yellow pollon that our Atlas Cedar shares with us every year! Great luck being there just when it happened, Alfie, and thanks for sharing this moment.

Well I have never seen anything like that in my life ... wouldn't want to live where you do Alfie as in latter years I developed allergies to all sorts of pollen.

This is the first time we have seen this in the thirty years we have lived here, I also have an allergy to pollen but luckily only grass. I've suffered from hay fever for forty seven years now although it's nowhere near as bad as it used to be, and I have learned a few tricks to relieve the symptoms.
