We saw this pool of water hyacinths in Florida a few months ago. It was on a plot of land in a residential area, surrounded on three sides by other plots with houses on them. It was a surprise to come upon this, knowing that water hyacinths are invasive and had been a big problem in Florida. I think perhaps a garden shop was growing them to sell since they were contained in this pool.
