Last week a mate of mine invitied me to go and see the new steam loco 'Tornado' steam through Peterborough, but I persuaded him to go to the North Norfolk Railway instead, because they were doing their Annual 40's Weekend and it honestly was 100% worth going along, not just for the railway side, but the theme and I took in the region of 60+ photo's including the one below of a 1950 Bristol bus in Eastern Counties livery, while I would have preferred Eastern National livery, seeing as I grew up with them. Soon after arrival, I was on this same bus and getting a FREE ride, not because I had my bus pass, but they only sought a donation which I gladly made. The best bit is yet to come when I can get to one particular photo and put it on here. That truly was something for me. The bus in the photo is also featured in a Gibson jigsaw and seen outside Weybourne station, while the photo below was taken at Holt, also on the North Norfolk Railway.

I missed it as well, and I know that we were on holiday.
It sounded like a fun outing, Mikkel, and the weather obviously played along, too.

From what I know, this now takes place EVERY year, and in March, the level crossing will be inaugerated with Britannia Class Steam loco 70013 'Oliver Cromwell' crossing from Network Rail side, to the NNR side and for the FIRST time in MANY years with a service through to Holt. I MIGHT be there.
