What a lovely sight to sit in the living room and look out at! Especially lovely with the sun on it.
Doesn't it ever loose it's leaves in the winter? There is an acacia in the next garden that is completely bare at the moment. Or is it an evergreen one, as I think there are several types, aren't there?
I see one of your palms getting in on the show too. Didn't you once say that they stay out all winter down your way?
Oh, just noticed that there is frost on your roof!

This is the back garden, the Acacia is in a very large pot and with the palms and the Oleanders stay out all year. This one and the more common Acacia Dealbata (florist Mimosa) are both evergreen. BTW the roof is the house on the opposite side of the road which is at the back. Our living room faces the front which looks out on a public footpath and a green. I have a couple of deciduous Acacias at work (Acacia Karoo from seeds picked up in Crete) these are spiny ones and are not as hardy.
