thats lovely skotkat its a thing i dont have an orchid by thats a great price cos ive seen them they can be very expensive

That is nice, Scotkat, and a good bargain, too.
The really nice thing about orchids is that they bloom for several months and need very little care. In fact, they thrive on neglect. I learnt that from my d-i-l and hers are a show every year.

If I may chuck in a couple here, this first one we have had for sometime: and as you can see, we have not had this one long: Both of these are on the East facing kitchen window sill, so out of the sun most of the time.

You say they thrive on neglect Kedi, they sound just the plants for us as they would get plenty of neglect here. ( cacti die of thirst in this house ) ;D ;D

Goodmornign Alfie thankyou and my cacti do thrive without a lot of water:) Enjoy your day nice morning but frost here yet and all that boought flowers from garden centres over weekend and planted . Well you know the rest too cold for them.
