Wow! Fantastic photos capney, brings back memories of when we visited York Railway Museum in 1990. We still remember seeing Queen Victoria's carriage while we were there, complete with bell pulls to summon the servants! ;D This would be a suitable place for this thread, but as we have a trains section in Hobbies and if you don't mind I can transfer the thread over to there, no problem?

No problem.. Perhaps I should have asked before I posted.. I also have a few pictures of the Air Museum at Elvington which board members may like to view. Maybe an aircraft section whould be appropiate?

Feel free to post anywhere, I can always move it and it is easier to judge what you have in mind then! I think it best to have a railways section and an aircraft section in Hobbies, I will sort that out today. Great pix and looking forward to seeing more of your collections Robert!

Great pictures Capney and you even got some of my All-time favourite and A4 4468 MALLARD. I have Loved this loco since first setting eyes on it back in the 1950's when it was in Clapham Museum.
