was given this tomato plant off my friend as shes going on holiday so ive put it on my window sill in my lounge as i get a lot of sun in there, got lots of tomatoes on it now im just hoping they turn red.they are plum tomatoes.   |

Looks a good healthy plant linda, I have never grown the plum type of tomato, interesting to see how you get on with it?
Are you going to feed it with Tomorite?

thanks dag, it needed watering yesterday when i brought it home so i fed it some tamorite, liz my friend had it standing in her garden and said it hasnt turned red the tomatoes for some reason so im hoping it does as i get loads of sun at the front.

great news tomatoes are turning red, i moved the plant and put it in the hall at the top of my stairs theres loads of light there.will get pics

I always pick them as soon as they are just ripe which they say encourages more to grow or ripen, as the plant no longer needs to concentrate on that one. So enjoy! ;D

tamarine yes i forgot to mention that i got plant off my friend and she did tell me they were italian plum tomatoes, i put it out on my hall cos theres loads of light out there and its doing very well.
