I was browsing inone of my houseplant books when it was raining bad yesterday.
And saw this lovely collection of houseplants planted as 1.
So as you see in garden centres they sometimes have small potted houseplants.
Want to pot them in a round pan but this would need drainage holes.
Then look nice old bowl for them to grow in my conservatory.
Thought this would look nice all potted up.
I am starting to build up my collection again of houseplants.

I obviously missed this posting, Scotkat, but I think it is a very nice idea.
The really good point is that if one plant dies off, you can easily replace it. It might even be a good idea to have one of these mini evergreen shrubs in it too.
As to an old large bowl to put them in - how about the bowl part of the jug-and-basin sets peeople used to have ages ago?
Hope to see some pics when you get it all finished. Good luck!
