This is Lambert lamb who is being looked after by the couple who live in one of the farm cottages, he is about 4 weeks old and has to be bottle fed every few hours, he goes for a walk with the couples dogs and the couple are going to see if the farmer will let them keep him as a pet (organic lawnmower). When we went up the road in the car he decided he wanted to come with us and chased the car for about 200 yds before we stopped and the lady in the photo caught up with us and took him home. The dog in the photo is called Aiden and is very nice. Alfie

He's lovely, Alfie. But isn't he big for just 4 weeks old - and look at those horns!
Nice idea have such a lawnmower, and not noisy either.

Ahhhhh! He looks wonderful in that kind of environment, I am sure he would make a fine pet, although a bit big when full grown to have indoors I would have thought?
If the farmer agrees it would be interesting to follow his development!

Your right Kedi I'm pretty sure he's a few weeks older than that, he will get a bit big for the house Dag and Ann says she's never seen a house trained sheep yet. The farmers sister had a pet lamb which grew up here and it was a real PEST, it wandered into everyones garden and could be quite boisterous and slept in the middle of the road. You had to drive very carefully at night. She was even worse when she had lambs of her own. They're cute at that age but it wears off as they grow. Ann says the only place for grown sheep is a field or a freezer ;D ;D ;D Alfie

Na, not in the freezer, it would freeze to death in there, with or without it's woolly coat. Let it stay in the field. I would.
