We moved here almost two years ago and it wasn't until this week that I spotted a couple of tall plants growing in the shade of a couple of trees, bearing some Beautiful coloured flowers, that turned out to be Hollyhocks. This tree has thorny leaves and one that I had sticking in my back as I tried to get a photo of a caterpillar.

Take your word for it mikkel, but I thought they looked more like Foxgloves? Anyway, a beautiful plant and a cracking photograph mikkel, well done!

Yes, they are Foxgloves, Mikkel. Let them seed themselves out and you'll get a lovely show every year.

Yes, they are Foxgloves, Mikkel. Let them seed themselves out and you'll get a lovely show every year. Take care though, I grew about a dozen, 4 years ago, and have been pulling them up like weeds ever since. They get everywhere especially into plant pots and containers all over the garden! ;D

True what DAG says, but since I love them so much, I let them grow where they will.
