thanks dag, i was amazed to see a duck with 9 chicks, they were so sweet to watch all the babies were jumping in and out the water, then on my way back the mother was asleep on her own guess the babies were in a nest, so i timed getting the pics real good

Agree with kedi and also the picture that shows them diving down but with their bums in the air made me laugh, you certainly caught the action there linda! ;D

thanks kedi and dag, i had heard that the heron was after them a few weeks ago so it was great to see all 9 of them, dag that was funny seeing them going under water with their bums in the air couldnt resist taking pics of them they look so funny ;D ;D

Great pics Linda ,reminded me a week today we had terrible thunder and lightening and roads were like rivers .
When storm had past I went out inmy car to find ducks on the road they had lost the river and roads were like river from water from fields with all the rain.
We had thunder and heavy rain again this afternoon.
