;)After all I found out my pc does have a usb connection. Now I put my sony disc for the camera on, fixed my camera to the pc and it does not import the photos. Failure message is: Pics can not be imported a Quelldatei (must be originfolder or something) is not known. I did the exact same with my laptop that was no problem. Pitily it is not connectd to dsl, so it is an awful lot of work to get my pics on the board. (laptop first, make a cd or dvd then put it on to the pc.)
Please help me if you can. Would make things a lot easier for me. I can not put the laptop on the internet, as it contains all my patient's data. So it is forbidden to use it on internet.

iska, first of all as you are trying to upload your pictures to your PC from your camera, then usually you have to tell your camera that you want to do that, check your camera manual to make sure that you have selected the right setting for doing this.
Secondly your PC must be looking at the right usb port which is probably your problem.
This is not easy to describe especially as you are going to have to translate. To check that out in whatever version of Windows you have you will need to goto:
Control Panel > Device Manager > Universal Serial Bus Controllers
click on the + sign to open them out and play around with them to see that the PC has the right one selected. If you pull out the usb connected and then plug it in again you should see the icon come up against one of the usb connections listed.
If you have a card reader either separately or built into your PC then simply take out the card from your camera and plug it into the reader..........assuming that the reader has been correctly set up in the first place.
Sorry I cannot be more specific than that iska, I am not familiar with any of the Sony systems or cameras and don't know what version of Windows you have or if you have a memory card reader.
