Oven roast sliced onion ,chopped fresh pepper of your choice sliced parsnip and chopped pear..
Then bring to boil with veg stock then add to slow cooker to cook.
Nice and tasty so easy to make.

skotkat that sounds lovely, ive a slow cooker so must try it sometime myself, i guess with the pear it will have a sweet sort of taste does it

I for got to say I also blitz it before serving ,but you can have chuncky if you want.
The soup worked well in slow cooker Mrs Dag and Linda not too sweet I woudl say just right:)

skotkat thanks do you know iff you can freeze it, just hubbys away back to africa tommorow and i know i wont be able to eat it all on my own ;D

I am sure you could freeze it Linda ,just put in to container portions you can eat and freeze.

ohhh ive made the soup skotkat and everyone its so delicious only problem i had i got every ingrediant at my local coop but they didnt have parsnips and so i couldnt be bothered to drive up to morrisons i used turnip and yam sweet potatoes its tastes marvelous and i guess you could put carrots in also, i blitzed the lot and i thought it was fairly on the thin side must of used to much water so ive just added potatoes and when they go soft will blitz them in to the soup to thicken it, its a lovely soup it has almost could i say a sweet and sour sort of taste just lovely
