Kedi, I thought you would like to see my 2 Peach trrees from the stones you sent me a couple of years ago as they have a lot of blossom on them. I shan't be expecting fruit for a long time but they seem to be doing well so far.

Oh, they are beautiful and they do have a lot of blossoms. Perhaps you might get fruit sooner than you think since they are doing so well. My cousins in England said that their tree is full of blossoms this year and I think it will keep the fruit this time. Our big tree has died but we still have a couple of smaller ones that had decent crops two years ago. Last year was a bad peach year, everyone we gave trees to said the same.

Was the old one's demise due to the cold or old age?
I wish I could plant them in the ground but I will have to wait till I retire (under three years now)and move to somewhere with a decent size garden.

There isn't much soil where this tree is standing, two patios and then grass, just a little bit of soil. Peter thinks it might have been his fault by being too generous with the Blaukorn, these little blue pellets.
When did you get your stones, strongy, was it in 2004 or 2006?
If necessary, you could always pot yours up in larger pots. I had actually thought about doing that with one of our younger ones while they were still small, so it could be moved around. Didn't do so in the end though.
