A heron was on a neighbours' chimney this morning. Hubby said that it was there several days ago, too, no doubt in the hope of seeing something to eat in our pond. Pictures taken through the window and the mosquito net, so rather greyish.   |

No fish left in our pond, guys, the heron, or his relatives, ate the last of them up quite some years ago, and so we gave up buying new stock. Just hope he doesn't catch any of our newts, they are so cute!
