I have finally DONE it!

For years now, I have Loved the male Blackbird and been determined to get a close-up picture of one.

Today and while doing our friends garden, a male came so very close to me, that I was able to speak to it and later got this photograph which I have to admit, Made My Day. I was less than 3 feet away at one time.

Well done Mikkel, lovely photo . It's surprising just how friendly Blackbirds can become, at a house I used to visit they had one that came into the house to get fed on currants

A very nice pic, mikkel. I like the way the leaves in their autumn colours frame the blackbird. Well caught.
