Clark's Nutcracker, somewhere in Wyoming. Bald Eagle, Lucky shot taken from a raft on the Snake River. Californian Condor, Grand Canyon. Heermans Gull SF, looking towards Alcatraz. Royal Terns, Ocean Beach San Francisco.

8-)What a wonderful collection of photographs strongy. The one with both the Heermans Gull and Alcatraz both beautifully centred, I suppose you could say you killed 2 birds with .............sorry about that! ;D

Some lovely photos again Strongy, Alcatraz looks a very forbidding place. Looking forward to seeing more.

I love the symbilic of the Alcatraz photo. The bird as free as anyone in there would wish to be, and its eye peeping to the saving boat and the jail in the background....

Alcatraz was a forbidding place although with so many visitors at one time on the tour it was had to sense the loneliness of it. It was very windy and cold outside the prison but I doubt if there was any warmth inside either.

Thanks Kedi, you may have seen them before on GC. I never thought I would see so many especially the smallest (Humming bird) and the largest (Condor). This one was unexpected, a Hummer in a pine tree.

Yes, I have seen the first ones before, but it's enjoyable to see them again.
I can't remember this one though, it is pretty enough to be a Christmas or a postcard.
