Well, it seems that we like the same colours, scotkat, as these are again ones that I would pick.
I used to wear this kind of hat, and also your slouch type beret, a lot years ago. Still have some of them, guess I should wear them again. However, I am now (back) into ear-muffs ;D

If you bought one pair, you could then crochet different coloured muffs. They are usually just attached around the base bit by elastic.

Joined a knitting and crochet winter group that has just started in our local wool shop this afternoon.
I am crocheting more driftwood hats and neck cosie orders.
But saw nice yarn and wooden buttons to crochet myself a nice winter top and matching hat.

Good heavens scotkat, with all that you do there can't be any time for sleeping! ;D
I am surprised that you have a local wool shop, we had a nice one where Arney used to buy her wool and buttons but it went out of business years ago!
In the next town there is a flower shop and they have a small wool section upstairs.
Our main place now is a shop called Gades in Southend which is quite expensive.

;DPlenty time to sleep . Our wool shop is large and big choice of nice yarns and buttons etc. Also get wool here www.peelfarm.com/ we are very lucky to have this onour doorstep Dag. Of course you can now order online for all types of yarn. Think this is why many wool shops going out of buisness.
