I do admire all of you who manage to grow all these lovely veggies.
When we first built this house years ago, we did try growing all sorts of things, mainly with no luck all along the line ;D Now I am only good at growing runner- or green-beans. Also a few courgettes and a pumpkin or two.
Best person to ask is Tamarine or Vegmandan.

Hi Scotkat, growing veg. in raised beds, you will love it and then you will want more raised beds. Easy to weed and turn the soil over.

I'm not good at sowing seeds, Scotkat, have just about given up on it.
However, I do have luck with green and runner beans. Tamarine told me how to go about it and I've had luck with them in the two years that I followed her instructions.
Best is for Tamarine to help you out. Or Vegmandan, but I haven't seen him in some time.

Hi Scotkat, Your caulies will be reay around late April -may and your broccli any time when the heads appear from April onwards. The more you cut them the more it grows.
Tatties This week I will be putting seed potato in bags to grow in cold greenhouse. Works every time.
As for other seeds. been as the allotment is flooded i put summer caulies,Brussel sprouts, leeks, summer cabbage, and broadbeans in pots out side. When the plant has 4 leaves I transplant it to permanant position on the lottie. You can also put onion seeds in the cold greenhouse.
Growing on my allotment now are spring cabbage, sprouting brocc, leeks, and broadbeans. Also onions and garlic. I started these off in Nov.08. My other friends on the lottie are struggling as they have nothing growing.
Hopes this helps.
