... this is a very hairy fella ... He had lost a wing ... so he was not flying, just walking around. Boy guy..

Poor thing, but you did get a good shot of him, Jeanne. I wonder how it happened? In a fight with another insect or some nasty kid, shudder!
I've never seen one that colour before, honey-coloured, actually the right colour for a bee. Nice shot of his face too.

I felt so sorry for him. He was quite large. I moved him to the middle of a flowered area that was pretty sheltered ........ so I hope he was happy there .......

Some Honey Bees ... On a Dusty Miller I liked this plant with a tiny purple flower but don't know the name.
