But, I sweep a lot more than I would have cut grass. In the Autumn I had tons of leaves and now this tree sheds every day:

Everything has its good points and also drawbacks. Try to enjoy the beauty of the flowering tree and overlook the mess (very difficult!).
It looks like the tree is in your neighbours garden so you can't just chop it down. You'll be OK once it finishes dropping the petals, then no more mess until the autumn when the leaves follow.

I do like the trees, and they are pretty - but I back on to fields and so have 7 trees hanging into my back and side gardens. Even so, I do like the feel of being surrounded by trees.

It looks like confetti. We have a patio and hardly ever sweep it except in the summer sometimes, but then again we are not surrounded by trees, only one at the end of our garden and a small tree in ours.

I know, I've decided to leave it and do it when the tree buds have finished falling. Then a short gap before leaf fall
