I have had a Gooseberry Bush for 12 years now and the last few years it as not given any fruit?? it is kept in good condition and i was told that it should still give some fruit and i would like any advice on this? as i would love to get it back to how it was or is it just too old??? all help gratefully received.

Well i am no expert but i think perhaps you should have pruned it back sometimes..but saying that i remember my aunty having loads of gooseberrys bushes and they all flowered and fruited every year..i had a gooseberry bush here but someone removed it grrrrrrr not sure Char perhaps you should cut it back and if it doesnt give you any fruit next year then dig it up..
